Racing for a cause.

On Saturday, I ran in a “5k Race for Taleah.” Taleah is a little girl who was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia last year. My friend Kenzie, with the help of many others, organized the race.

A few Presidential Ambassadors ran the race, so here we are beforehand — just stretching & being goofy, of course (what we do best).

And, after we finished! Hoorah. It made me feel even better to know the 3 miles I ran were for a good cause, other than exercise. They also had 50 raffle prizes — somehow I ended up winning 6 tickets to the Cedar City aquatic center. Good thing I’m staying here this summer. It looks like I will have something to do!
