last home game.

Saturday was the last home football game of the year. We won 34-3. A perfect way to end the home season. But what I really want to talk about is what happened during half-time and after the game.

The opposing team UC Davis brought their marching band. I was a bit confused as to why at first, but then they came out onto the field during halftime and I was extremely grateful they came.

Not only did they play some quality music, which included a cover of Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You,” but they did some choreography as well. Incredibly entertaining.

When the game ended they came back out onto the south end of the field and played some more music. So if you left Eccles Coliseum as soon as the game was over, you left way too soon.

Our drum line even came down and joined in for a few songs.

They were super talented. I overheard someone saying that this wasn’t even their entire marching band! They could only bring so many. Such a great addition to a quality Saturday.
